Building a Mother's Tribute

Speaking of great ideas, Heather over at Mom2Mom has proposed a writing contest as a Mothers' Day celebration. See her blog before May 1 to submit your tribute to your mother's love.

Kim,

Thank you so much for your support of this "Mother's Love Writing Contest!" It really brings honor to our moms when we can rise up and bless her with our words -- and what better place than the whole entire world on the internet!

I don't know if the author of Proverbs had that in mind when he penned Proverbs 31:28 -- but we're in the 21st century now!! I'd love to hear from some teens or younger students. Their words will also be read by a major Christian publisher.

I am looiking forward writing about my mom. She was very much who taught me the important things in life. I was blessed with my parents. :) I hope to see your post too over at Heather's place.

I just found you, Kim, and I have to know...what is subversive hospitality?

Ahh! Glad you asked.

Subversive hospitality has as its purpose to structure a welcome for guests so that they will want to think about the spiritual underpinnings of relationships, of joy, of feasting, of celebration, of a quiet cup of coffee with a new friend...

It's wicked. I know.
